Prof. Amit Patra takes over the Additional Charge of the Director, IIT Kharagpur

Prof. Amit Patra, currently the Director of IIT BHU takes over the Additional Charge of the Director, IIT Kharagpur until the regular incumbent takes over or till further orders, whichever is earlier. The institute appreciates the excellent services rendered by Prof. V K Tewari, Outgoing Director, IIT Kharagpur who was the Professor of IIT Kharagpur in the Department of Agricultural and Food Engineering. IIT Kharagpur has recently welcomed new faces in various administrative roles. From academic units to R&D units to Institute maintenance, the Institute has geared up to step-up its activities under new leadership. Prof. Goutam Saha, Professor, Dept. of Electronics & Electrical Communication Engineering has been appointed as the Dean of Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur.
