Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur welcomed Dr. Rajendra Prasad Singh as the new Chairperson of the Board of Governors, IIT Kharagpur. Currently, the Chairperson of the Board of Governors, IIT Bhubaneswar, he has been conferred the additional responsibility of IIT Kharagpur effective from 12th July, 2022. Dr. Singh is the former Chairman & Managing Director of Power Grid Corporation and Independent Director of Azzure Power Global Ltd. He has been the Chairman of the Board for NIT Patna for a period of 3 years from 2009-2012 and completed his B.Tech & M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.…
